The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC929 is part of the Prospex Speedtimer collection, inspired by the famous chronograph launched by Seiko in 1969. This edition stands out with its vibrant yellow dial inspired by vintage racing cars, contrasted by three black sub-dials. The hands and applied indexes benefit from LumiBrite treatment to ensure excellent readability in the dark, while the tachymeter bezel emphasizes the sporty and automotive spirit of this chronograph.

Case

The case is made of stainless steel and features a diameter of 41.4 mm, a thickness of approximately 13 mm, and a lug-to-lug length of 45.9 mm. The watch is equipped with a black tachymeter bezel for measuring average speed. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inner surface. The assembly guarantees water resistance of 10 bar (100 meters) and a lug width of 21 mm.

Movement

The SSC929 runs on the Seiko V192 caliber, a solar quartz movement powered by natural or artificial light. Once fully charged, it offers a power reserve of approximately 6 months and an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month. This movement includes a 1/5th of a second chronograph measuring up to 60 minutes, a small seconds hand, a 24-hour hand, a tachymeter, a power reserve indicator, and a date display.

Bracelet

This watch is equipped with a sturdy and comfortable stainless steel bracelet, perfectly matched to the case. It features a folding clasp with a push-button, ensuring secure closure and optimal wrist comfort.
