The Seiko SSC965P1 belongs to the Prospex Speedtimer "Youngtimer" collection, a series of solar chronographs that pay homage to the Speedtimers of the 1960s-70s with a colorful and sporty spirit. The matte sanded green dial of this model is inspired by the aesthetic of sports cars from the 1980s-90s, known as "youngtimers".

Case

The case of the Seiko SSC965P1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 39 mm and a thickness of 13.3 mm (lug-to-lug: 45.5 mm). The matte sanded green dial is protected by a curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal (treatment on the inner surface). The case back is screwed down. The water resistance is 100 m (10 bar), with magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m. The indexes and hands are coated with LumiBrite. The lug width is 20 mm.

Movement

The Seiko SSC965P1 is powered by the solar caliber V192, a solar chronograph rechargeable by any light source. The power reserve is approximately 6 months when fully charged, with a power reserve indicator. The chronograph measures up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments. Additional functions: 24-hour hand, small seconds, and date display.

Bracelet

The Seiko SSC965P1 is equipped with a stainless steel bracelet, fastened by a triple-folding clasp with push-buttons.
