Case

Crafted from stainless steel, the Seiko SPB315J1 case measures 44.3 mm in diameter and 13.4 mm in thickness. The unidirectional rotating bezel allows for precise measurement of dive times. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, the most scratch-resistant glass, with an anti-reflective coating. The case back is solid screw-down. Water resistance is 200 m, compliant with ISO 6425 diving standards. The indices and hands are coated with LumiBrite, Seiko's luminous material for extended nighttime legibility.

Movement

The Seiko SPB315J1 is powered by the automatic caliber 6R35, offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The 6R caliber is the high-end of Seiko's series automatic movements: it features hacking and manual winding, and offers a significantly longer power reserve than 4R calibers.

Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet of the Seiko SPB315J1, secured by a deployant clasp, consistently complements the case. The lug width is 20 mm.
