The case of the SNE529P1 is made of stainless steel, with a diameter of 40.0mm and a thickness of 9.7mm (lug-to-lug: 47.0mm). The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal: with a hardness of 9 Mohs, only direct contact with sand or brick can scratch it. The case back is solid and screwed down. The lug width is 20 mm.
